AHD, Inc. specializes in the development of affordable housing (both new construction and rehabilitation) for middle, moderate and lower income households. It develops housing in partnership with both for-profit and non-profit entities. Through its affiliate, AHD Management, Inc., it provides property management services for owners and developers of affordable multi-family rental housing.

AHD, Inc. was organized in 1989. The company and its principals have initiated and directed the development close to 5,000 affordable dwelling units for both elderly and family households. They have years of experience in working with the major federal housing insurance, loan, and grant programs available from state and local governments throughout the country. They also have had extensive experience in structuring ownership entities and equity financing programs tailored to the special needs of affordable housing.
